Distinguished Educator Award

Great teaching is far more than classroom performance per se.  In fact, the essence of teaching is not performance, but the effective creation of situations in which learning takes place.

Purpose

The Distinguished Educator Award was established to recognize an exemplary REBI instructor that consistently creates a positive learning experience for their students.  This Educator delivers the content of our materials effectively, enthusiastically, and with knowledge of the subject matter.

The recipient of this award consistently teaches our courses and receives high scores on their evaluations.  This person is an REBI Ambassador who promotes the value of the Institute and its credentials, volunteers on REBI committee’s and enjoys a good working relationship with course providers and REBI staff.

Selection

The Award Selection Advisory Committee will select one individual each calendar year as the recipient.

Presentation

The Award is presented during the Annual Meetings in November at a special event hosted by the Institute.
